Telecom Foundation is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Principal, responsible for administering, building, fostering, managing, implementing, and cultivating best practices in TF Schools. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution and supervision of all administrative and supervisory requirements for effective school operations.

Character building plays a vital role in a child's holistic development, and as Principal, you will be instrumental in nurturing students' character traits such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, and resilience. By incorporating character-building activities, values-based education, and positive reinforcement into the school curriculum and daily routines, you will create a positive, safe and encouraging environment that promotes students' character growth and prepares them for success in life.

Overall, as Principal, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership, fostering a supportive school community, ensuring effective operations, and prioritizing character development to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Maintain a minimum of 80% academic achievement across all internal and external examinations.
Ensure a minimum of 90% student retention throughout the academic year by fostering a supportive, responsive, and student-centered environment.
Take tangible and consistent initiatives to increase student enrollments through community engagement, marketing, and local outreach
Ensure timely fee collection and maintain strong financial oversight, ensuring that outstanding receivables do not exceed 15% of total dues throughout the academic year.
Conduct regular classroom observations of teachers (both informed and uninformed) and submit detailed records to HQ.
Provide effective leadership to all school staff while fostering a positive, inclusive, and values-driven culture that promotes discipline, respect, empathy, and moral development across the school community.
Implement educational policies, programs, and initiatives that align with the foundation's vision and values.
Supervise, guide, and evaluate the performance of all school staff through monthly informed and uninformed observations; implement professional development plans and enforce accountability measures as needed.
Ensure effective implementation of the HQ-designed curriculum by monitoring lesson planning, classroom delivery, and student engagement through regular academic oversight.
Oversee the school’s daily operations, including budgeting, resource management, facility maintenance, and adherence to administrative policies.
Build and maintain strong communication and collaboration with parents, local stakeholders, and internal departments to support academic and operational success.
Handle student and staff disciplinary matters promptly and fairly, ensuring consistent enforcement of rules and documentation of incidents.
Stay up to date with evolving educational standards, leadership practices, and policy developments; participate in training and contribute to institutional growth.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum 13 years of experience, including at least 3 years’ experience in leadership position as Principal / Section Head / Coordinator. An added advantage of 2 years shall be awarded in case of Master’s degree.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Good negotiation and analytical skills.

Knowledge of school admissions process and criteria.
Proficiency in email, MS Office, Outlook, and internet skills.
Fully comply with all the conditions mentioned in the teacher’s /principal’s undertaking. In case of failure to comply with these conditions, the results may lead to the termination from employment.
